- Joe Patterson does not recommand Sutri-Bracciano-Rome

- Yellow braun pilgrim in Italy ?! doesn't exist or exists, but not usefull or wrong on SS, SC ou footpaths. ONLY use the TOPOFRANCIGENA A +B route.
Just as in the Middle Ages, pilgrims on the Via Francigena demonstrate that they are making the pilgrimage to ROME by wearing the VF pennant on their rucksack and the little keys of St Peter sewed on their hat or jacket. Later when they had gone to Jerusalem they would add the palm as symbol.
